Review: When I first took a peak at this game I thought it
would be like most of the generic RPGs for the nes.
Fortunately I was wrong! When I turned the power onto that
ol' NES of mine and starting playing Crystalis; it was love at
first site. I found myself playing the game for hours on end! I
felt like kicking myself for not finding this game sooner.
The gameplay is near flawless. The controls are solid, and the
overall feel of the game will draw you into the game. I may be
taking a risk by saying this, but I would say that controls and
gameplay are on par with Links Awakening.
As Far as graphics, Absolutely the best for there time. They
might not be "the best", but they won't leave you shredding
your eyes out.
Overall, Crystalis is a truely outsatnding game. In my opinion,
it was overlooked compared to some of the more popular
games for the system. I would recomend this game to anyone
who has an NES, it's not that expensive and it can provide
hours of fun, also I would recomend it to any Zelda fans. The
gameplay is similar, and in my opinion it just might be better
than the original Zelda.
